Tältä tämän vuotinen myyntiosastomme Vanhalla näytti viime viikonloppuna, vielä on myyntipäiviä jäljellä, mutta valmiit sukat ja kirjoneulelapaset ovat jo lopussa, onneksi lankaa ja muutakin on vielä jäljellä, myös mieheni luontokuvia ja postikortteja. Myyjäiset kestävät vielä ensi sunnuntaihin, 23.12 saakka. Keskellä kojua olevat huput on tehty neulekoneella, ne ovat tosi suosittuja.. ja käytännöllisiä. Mieheni suunnitteli aikoinaan mallin minulle, koska en osaa jotenkin pitää pipoja ja koneella tehtynä huppuosan neuleesta tulee tiivis ja lämmin.Joulumyyjäiset ovat siitä mukavia, että niissä näkee paljon tuttuja, joita ei muulloin tapaakaan ja nyt olen tavannut myös uusia blogimaailmasta tuttuja ihmisiä:-)
Nyt täytyy lähteä taas kasaamaan tarvikepaketteja.

Our booth in the Christmas Fair looks like this this year. Last week-end we still had some mittens and socks left but now they are all sold out. Luckily we have still yarns, hats, pictures and postcards, and other things to sell, the Fair lasts until Dec 23.
We make the hoods which are in the middle of the picture with a small knitting machine, that is my husbands design which he made originally for me because I don't like to wear a hat:-) He is the one of us who knows how to knit with the machine, I am busy dyeing, knitting with needles and finishing machine knit things.
We sell quite a lot of those hoods, they are warm and practical.
Christmas Fair is a nice event, I meet there a lot of old friends which I practically see only once a year, just there. And now I get to meet new blogging friends there also.
Now I have to got put together more mitten kits.

What fun! Your yarns are beautiful and I'm fascinated by the hoods. I too do not like proper hats and it's very cold here!

I love your booth! I wish I could travel to Finland just to shop at the Christmas Fair. Your mittens and yarns are lovely. How wonderful you can make a living doing something you love.

Hienolta näyttää Vanhalla :). En taida tänäkään vuonna päästä käymään, kun olen vatsataudissa kolmatta päivää kotona. Henna onneksi kävi :). Kiitos hienosta joulukortista! Minun tulee vähän myöhässä :). Menen varmaan sunnuntaina Jpäähän ja välipäiviksi töihin. Nähdään kun tulette!

Hi Leena your stall looks so good and I like the mixture of pictures and fibres because that is what I have too! The hoods look wonderful and as it is very cold ( for us here that is about zero degrees C) they look like a good idea for here too!
